Reese Ketler

Biography

Reese was introduced to wheelchair rugby by a mentor in his rehabilitation hospital after sustaining a spinal cord injury from a hockey accident. Given his sport background, Reese picked up wheelchair rugby quickly, appreciating the fast paced and aggressive nature. He quickly rose in the rankings, representing team Sasktoba at National Championships, and quickly earning his place on Team Canada in 2023. 

Outside of wheelchair rugby, Reese has become a recognizable figure online, with over 600,000 combined followers on social media. His content revolves around sharing his personal story, raising awareness for accessibility across Canada and beyond, and videos about his day-to-day life.
