Wheelchair Rugby Canada is proud to announce the roster for the 2026 Canada Cup, taking place June 4–7, 2026, at the Richmond Olympic Oval in Richmond, British Columbia. Hosted by BC Wheelchair Sports, the Canada Cup has been held biennially since 2004 and is widely regarded as one of the premier wheelchair rugby tournaments outside of the World Championships and Paralympic Games.
Representing Team Canada at the 2026 Canada Cup are:

Canada will face off against Japan, Australia, France, Great Britain, and Brazil throughout the tournament.
“This roster is a strong blend of veteran grit and new, hungry energy, combining the tactical wisdom of our core group with the dynamic intensity of our rising stars,” said Team Canada Co-Captain Eric Rodrigues.
“Playing on home soil in Richmond, in front of our fans, is always special. We’re excited for the challenge ahead and ready to continue building momentum toward the World Championships in Brazil this August.”
Schedule:
Team Canada opens tournament play on Thursday, June 4, with games against Australia at 11:00 a.m. PST and Japan at 5:00 p.m. PST. On Friday, June 5, Canada will take on France at 11:00 a.m. PST before facing Great Britain at 5:00 p.m. PST. Canada’s final round-robin match will take place on Saturday, June 6, against Brazil at 2:00 p.m. PST, with placement matches scheduled for Sunday, June 7.
