(Ottawa, ON – August 4) Wheelchair Rugby Canada (WRC) is proud to announce the launch of its new website, www.wheelchairrugby.ca.

The new WRC website features a clean design, improved functionality and rich content focused on the sport of wheelchair rugby. It will replace the existing Canadian Wheelchair Sports Association site (www.cwsa.ca), as part of the national sport organization’s overall rebranding initiative that was undertaken at the beginning of 2018.

The site promotes our new brand and reflects our longstanding commitment to the growth and development of wheelchair rugby in Canada” said WRC CEO, Catherine Cadieux. “Wheelchairrugby.ca is dynamic, interactive and easy to navigate, making it the perfect resource for our fans, supporters and partners.

The all-new wheelchairrugby.ca was developed by They Integrated Inc., a Belleville-based branding and digital agency, under the strategic direction of Wheelchair Rugby Canada. Together, they have created a unified platform for all things wheelchair rugby in Canada from the grassroots level to the national team.

The launch coincides with the start of the 2018 World Wheelchair Rugby Championship, which will be played in Sydney, Australia from August 5th to the 10th. Extensive coverage of Team Canada’s progress throughout the tournament will be featured on the new WRC website, with previews, recaps, player and coach interviews, photos and much more.

Wheelchair Rugby Canada plans to add additional features and resources to the website over the coming months.
