BC Wheelchair Sports has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Vancouver Invitational.

Given the extension of the current COVID-19 related restrictions in BC to February 5^th,  BCWSA have made the difficult decision to cancel the event.

Due to this tight timeline between any changes to the existing restrictions and the fact that most of the clubs are still not allowed to return to any form of group training, BCWSA opted to cancel the event altogether since it is unlikely that the government will allow teams to travel and gather around the province in early March.

The safety of all tournament participants, volunteers, and attendees has and always will be among BCWSA’s top priorities.

BCWSA hope to build upon the Vancouver Invitational’s reputation for exciting rugby, and an inviting and inclusive atmosphere and be back in 2022!
