Biography

Having been part of the national wheelchair rugby team since 2019, Joel Ewert’s international achievements include a notable silver medal at the 2024 Paralympic Qualification Tournament. He also helped his team secure 6th place at the 2024 Canada Cup. A graduate in biomedical studies at the University of Northern British Columbia. Joel looks forward to entering the next phase of his learning journey as he enters UBC’s Northern Medical Program in Fall 2024.
