Jean-François Huneault

Biography

Jean-Francois (JF) began playing wheelchair rugby in 2024 after being encouraged to try the sport due to his athleticism and drive for new challenges. He was immediately drawn to the intensity and fast-paced nature of the game, and his commitment has continued to grow ever since.

In 2025, JF earned an invitation to his first Team Canada training camp, and by the end of the year, he was selected for the National Team Athlete Pool.

JF aims to become a key contributor to the team and ultimately represent Canada at the next Paralympic Games.
