Contest Overview

Wheelchair Rugby Canada (WRC) is hosting the Wheelchair Rugby Canada Mailing List Giveaway Contest (the “Contest”) to encourage supporters to stay connected with wheelchair rugby news, athlete stories, event updates, and opportunities to get involved.

By entering the Contest, eligible participants will have a chance to win a $100 coupon to the Wheelchair Rugby Canada Macron online store.

Contest Period

The Contest begins on July 20th at 8:00 am ET and closes on August 7th at 5:00 pm ET.

All entries must be received during the Contest Period to be eligible.

Eligibility

The Contest is open to residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older or who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence.

Employees, contractors, board members, and representatives of Wheelchair Rugby Canada, as well as their immediate family members and individuals with whom they reside, are not eligible to enter.

No purchase is necessary to enter.

How to Enter

To enter the Contest, participants must:

1. Complete the Wheelchair Rugby Canada mailing list sign-up form during the Contest Period; and
2. Provide a valid email address and consent to receive communications from Wheelchair Rugby Canada.

Limit of one (1) entry per person.

By submitting an entry, participants agree to receive communications from Wheelchair Rugby Canada. Participants may unsubscribe from WRC communications at any time.

Prize

One (1) eligible participant will be selected to receive:

One (1) $100 coupon to the Wheelchair Rugby Canada Macron online store.

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or substituted for another prize.

Winner Selection and Notification

One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

The draw will take place on August 8th, 2026.

The selected winner will be contacted by email using the information provided at the time of entry. The winner will have seven (7) days to respond and confirm eligibility and acceptance of the prize.

If the selected winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required timeframe, or is deemed ineligible, Wheelchair Rugby Canada reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

Before being declared the official winner, the selected participant may be required to correctly answer a skill-testing question.

Privacy

Personal information collected through this Contest will be used for the purposes of administering the Contest and managing Wheelchair Rugby Canada communications.

By entering the Contest, participants consent to receive communications from Wheelchair Rugby Canada. Participants may unsubscribe from email communications at any time.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with Wheelchair Rugby Canada’s privacy practices.

General Conditions

Wheelchair Rugby Canada reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if any issue prevents the Contest from being conducted as planned.

Wheelchair Rugby Canada reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Contest Rules or attempts to enter using fraudulent or inappropriate means.

By entering the Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Contest Rules and the decisions of Wheelchair Rugby Canada, which are final and binding.
