Wheelchair Rugby Canada has announced a late roster change ahead of the 2026 WWR World Championships in São Paulo, Brazil. 

Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, Fabien Lavoie will be unable to compete with Team Canada at the WWR World Championships. We thank Fabien for his hard work in preparing for this tournament and for his leadership within the team. Wheelchair Rugby Canada continues to support Fabien, and we ask that our community respect his privacy at this time. 

Reese Ketler has been added to the roster as a late replacement and will join Team Canada in São Paulo for the 2026 World Championships. We are grateful to Reese for taking on this opportunity on short notice.
