Kevin Caswell Enters New Role as Communications and Digital Media Intern

Kevin, who has worked several years as a Brand Ambassador for Tigris Events, brings several years of marketing experience to Wheelchair Rugby Canada and officially joined the team on November 27, 2023.

Ottawa, Ontario: Wheelchair Rugby Canada is proud to welcome Kevin Caswell as the Communications and Digital Media Intern. Kevin, who has worked several years as a Brand Ambassador for Tigris Events, brings several years of marketing experience to Wheelchair Rugby Canada and officially joined the team on November 27, 2023. 

“I am honoured to embark on this journey with Wheelchair Rugby Canada, blending my passion for sports and communication,” says Kevin Caswell, the incoming Communications and Digital Media Intern. “I look forward to working with the team, to amplify the impact of wheelchair rugby, showcasing the resilience and spirit of our athletes. I am excited to contribute my skills and learn from the dynamic community.”

Kevin earned a Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies from Carleton University and is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Sports Business Management at Algonquin College. His experience as a Member Mobilizer at CUPE 4600 has given him a solid foundation in grassroots communication and advocacy, which is vital for engaging effectively in a diverse organization such as Wheelchair Rugby Canada.

The one-year Sports Business Management Ontario College Graduate Certificate program equips students for a rewarding career in the thriving, multibillion-dollar sports industry. Based in Canada’s capital, the program offers interaction with industry professionals from various sport franchises and national governing bodies.
